Forgive me if I tune out of your Boring one way conversation Your ego stroking, franchise forming Sad attempts at manipulation They leave a bitter taste upon my tongue And now I'm licking wallpaper and chewing gum To sell some Trust none To sell some I never new life Could be like this In a broken light Ruled by objects I never new life Where simple concepts Caused such a fight Hit the reset Ha Believe me when I try to tell you You need this bullshit that I'm trying to sell you Whatever it is that you think that you don't have Well I'm gonna package it up with a cool hand Then leave my bitter taste upon your tongue So you'll be licking wallpaper and chewing gum To sell some Trust none To sell some I never new life Could be like this The flourish or the plight Stacked by interests I never new life In this context so self justified Hit the reset Ha You’re moving colours and music To tell me a story About how you've got something special just for me Distracting my senses and pitching a new dream I'm taking your lunch money now to buy ice cream That leaves a bittersweet taste upon my tongue Until I'm licking wallpaper and chewing gum To sell some Trust none To sell some I never new life Could be like this In a broken light Ruled by objects I never new life Where simple concepts Caused such a fight Hit the reset Ha I never new life Could be like this You say you're on my side I should try this I contemplate And sure, I might like this But with truce denied Nothing's righteous I never new life could be like this I never new life could be like this

I feel the prickles forming Impulsive options storming I'm operating on a basic frequency I could pull it apart Go right back to the start I'll never figure out just how the hell I got here But if I think on it And if I drink on it I'll realise there is a point to looking back They say we never learn But they cannot confirm They never had to face a life lived empty And it started with just one And then the reckoning had begun And now I'm breathing slow but I'm triggered and keen to attack Reptilian flashbacks They say its habit forming I say I'll grab it for em Cos isn't life just a blink then residuals? The sun it hits my blood The slow endorphin flood Aren't human beings well defined by rituals? The open pages blowing The words and pictures showing A bleary cosmos is shaken up and crystallised It projects across your brain With terms you can't explain It's like you’re programmed to glitch out then override And it started with just one And then the reckoning had begun And now I'm breathing slow but I'm triggered and keen to attack Reptilian flashbacks And if they cast us out Somehow I think we'll be ok Surroundings are clearer now No misperceptions are in the way So I stand and call it out I watch the old logic decay They gape and stumble As we close to end the play So mangled up by hatred Who even cares what they said? It seems so easy to let their reasons kill themselves Another square cage Another catcher paid The underpinning cause is damn near shouting out But still they flap about Nothingness from their mouths These mammal idiots are ruining the party I feel my light switched on You wanna get it on? Flammable parameters are what this place was founded on And they started with just one And then the reckoning had begun And now I'm breathing slow but I'm triggered and keen to attack Reptilian flashbacks

Winter fades To a hollow night Simple things Are enough to give you a fright What the whisper tells you You wouldn't like Might be what's manifest Might be spite Beyond this place Inside of light There are beings Calculating, sitting tight Are you abandoned? Would you like relief? Perhaps I could fix us something Evil while we build a heat Never too late never all gone In the legions voice there's only one song We offer golden days We offer lenience We offer minimal inconvenience I see signs of takeover I see pain I see violence circling to come this way again Voices burning Like a witch’s cry Calling out to darker things Echoing inside your mind Incanting archetypes Just to reassure To muffle that nagging voice That murmurs underneath your flaws Won't go quietly Won't lie down That's what you remember thinking Just before you hit the ground Never too late never all gone In the legions voice there's only one song We offer golden days We offer lenience We offer minimal inconvenience step into the machine prepare to take the big sleep It makes you feel weak And lose the words you could speak Now entitlements ended The right wing has unfriended So unique yet alone So you seek out a tone Never too late never all gone In the legions voice there's only one song We offer golden days We offer lenience We offer minimal inconvenience Winter fades To a hollow night Simple things Are enough to give you a fright What they could tell you You wouldn't like Might be what's manifest Here tonight

It was the epitome of what stopped the clock I remember that night and the electro shock Forces landing then taking, commanding then Separating them then segregating them Hellbent on institutionalised hatred Like the adult to the child til they too say it Warlords sent from red skies that were hostile Taking place, taking aim in this meanwhile All that time You took comfort in simple things Never wanting the bias to shift or swing It's like no one can see that by chance of stability We're not taking our place with these petrified earthlings Under the instruction of who we'll never know Taking orders and putting on a show Extra terrestrial, energy in flow Extra dimensional places to go Just keep your focus and tighten up your grip Don't let another single word leave your lips Control is granted without having the thought Strange beings and the seeings they can can distort All of that time seeking something more interesting So compelled by the mystery darkening Falling away from the structure of certain things Taking our place with these petrified earthlings The dead centre Red September I remember how the city burned When the visitors returned All of that time you took comfort in simple things Never wanting the bias to shift or swing It's like no one can see that by chance of stability We're not taking our place with these petrified earthlings All of that time seeking something more interesting So compelled by the mystery darkening Falling away from the structure of certain things Taking our place with these petrified earthlings
