the years have passed now the timing is right • the echo of the dusk it causes many a fright • the demons of desire are running into the night • the screeching and the gnashing of the teeth as they bite • hungry for the sweetness and the heat of the bowl • it’s for pudding that they strike but then they take your soul • when pudding is served • take a seat if you’re evil • have some sticky date • with some ice cream and treacle • or you could indulge in some trifle with sherry • and custard and cream • and gelatinous berries • they are your overlords in the land of the plenty • you are the peasants and they are the gentry • you’re toiling through the night preparing thick, sticky courses • propelled by appetites of pure demonic forces • your master gorges himself while you’re doing his dishes • you’re cleaning up the kitchen while he entertains his bitches • work your way through chocolate profiterole mountains • or gorge yourself spent under hot chocolate fountains • there’s self-saucing butterscotch of you are so inclined • now pudding is served to the taste that is well refined •
